Pepe suffered an ulna fracture in his left arm in the match against Morocco

The Portuguese soccer player Pepe suffered a fracture in the ulna of his left arm during the match this Saturday with Morocco, in Doha, which dictated the elimination of Portugal in the quarterfinals of the World Cup in Qatar.

“The Portuguese international was examined after the match at a hospital in Doha, which confirmed the alleged fracture,” the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) says on its website.

The Portuguese soccer team said goodbye to the World Cup in Qatar after losing 1-0 to Morocco, debuting at this stage, at the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha.

A goal from Youssef En Nesyri, in the 42nd minute, sealed the victory for the Moroccans, who became the first African team to reach the semifinals of a World Cup, while Portugal failed to repeat the ‘semifinals’ of 1966 and 2006.
