The French soccer team beat the England team 2-1 on Saturday and secured their presence in the World Cup semifinals, a stage in which they will face Morocco.
At the Al Bayt stadium, the French scored first, through midfielder Tchouaméni, who fired from outside the penalty area and past Lloris on 17′.
In the second half, the English benefited from a penalty that Harry Kane converted on 54′, making it equal.
France retook the lead in the 78th minute, when Giroud headed in a cross that came from the left of the French attack to the near post.
Harry Kane equalized on his feet at 84′, in a new penalty, but finished off over the goal.
With this result, the French -world champions in 2018 and still defending the title- will play in the semifinals against Morocco, which this afternoon eliminated Portugal with a 1-0 victory.
