The Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas, number four in the world, qualified this Friday for the final of the Australian Open, his second grand final after Roland-Garros in 2021.
Tsitsipas defeated Russian Karen Khachanov 7-6 (7/2), 6-4, 6-7 (6/8) 6-3, in a match that lasted almost three and a half hours.
In Sunday’s final, the 24-year-old Greek will face either 5th-ranked Serbian Novak Djokovic (who is seeking his 22nd Grand Slam title) or 35th-ranked American Tommy Paul. .
