The sixth consecutive victory for the Catalans in the League was achieved at the La Cerámica stadium with a single goal, scored by Pedri, in the 18th minute, after a draw with the Pole Robert Lewandowski.

FC Barcelona already has 56 points at the top of the Spanish league, with 11 more than Real Madrid, second, which on Wednesday adjusts the calendar with the reception at the red light Elche.

Villarreal, who added their third consecutive defeat in the League, remains in eighth place, with 31 points, one behind Atlhetic, seventh, with 32, and one from Osasuna, ninth, with 30.

Atlético de Madrid secured the three points against Celta de Vigo, led by the Portuguese coach Carlos Carvalhal, with a goal from the Dutchman Memphis Depay, in the 89th minute.

Playing reduced to 10 from minute 70, due to the direct red card shown to Savic, Atlético de Madrid only scored in the final minutes, thanks to the Dutchman’s scoring debut for the colchoneros.

The Portuguese Gonçalo Paciência was on the substitute bench for Celta de Vigo, but was not used by Carlos Carvalhal.

Atlético de Madrid occupies the fourth position, with 38 points, one behind Real Sociedad, which is third, but has one game less, and travels to Espanyol on Monday.

Celta de Vigo, who had won two consecutive victories, is in 14th place, with 23 points.

Valladolid and Osasuna drew 0-0 and remain in 13th position, with 24 points, and ninth, with 30, respectively.

Getafe and Rayo Vallecano also tied, but 1-1, in a game marked by several incidents, such as the sending off of Carles Aleñá, an own goal and a penalty missed by both teams.

The Uruguayan Mauro Arambarri put Rayo Vallecano ahead with an own goal on 38′ and a missed penalty by Borja Maioral, on 51′, prevented Getafe from drawing, which was reduced to 10 on 54′ due to the expulsion of Carles Alena.

Despite being outnumbered, Getafe reached a draw against the Turkish Enes Unal (1-1), in minute 77, and in minute 87 it was Raúl de Tomás’s turn to waste a penalty for Rayo Vallecano.

Rayo Vallecano, who was coming off two consecutive victories, occupies the sixth position, with 33 points, one behind Betis, fifth, while Getafe, who has the second consecutive tie, is 19th and third from last, with 19.
