The Ukrainian Roman Yaremchuk, transferred earlier this week from Benfica to Club Brugge, made his debut this Friday in the current Belgian League and scored in the 4-0 win over Cercle Brugge, in a match on matchday seven.
The Club Brugge, opponent of FC Porto in the group stage of the Liga dos Campeões de Futebol, won the derby of the capital of Flanders in a very clear way and about the second of the championship, with 16 points, two from Antuérpia, who had a game unless.
Yaremchuk jumped into the game in the 63rd minute, with his team already leading 2-0, and made an auspicious return to Belgium, where he represented Gent for five seasons, before joining Benfica in 2021/2022.
The Danish Skov Olsen opened the scoring, in the 43rd minute, and an own goal by the French Marcelin extended the 2-0, in the 59th, to fix the result, in the 82nd.
Club Brugge is part of Group B of the Champions League and will play at the Estádio do Dragão on September 13, for the second day of that competition.
