The president of FC Porto, national soccer champion, Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, acquired another 1,350 shares of SAD, the ‘dragons’ reported on Tuesday, in a note sent to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM).
The operation consummated on Thursday amounted to 1,579.50 euros, the director investing for the second time in March, this time at the unit price of 1.17 euros, slightly strengthening his position in SAD for the fifth month in a row.
The FC Porto manager began by buying 7,248 shares in exchange for 6,623.20 euros between November and December 2022, in a process that he replicated in January and February 2023 -7,590 shares valued at 7,509.70 euros- and on March 1 – 1,298 for 1,479.72.
According to the latest SAD report and accounts submitted to CMVM, for the first half of the 2022/23 season, Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, 85, owned 320,804 shares, corresponding to 1.43% of his position, at 31 December 2022.
The majority of the SAD belongs directly to the club (74.59%), while the businessman, ex-soccer player and ex-coach António Oliveira is the main individual shareholder (7.34%), followed by his brother Joaquim Oliveira, through the company Olivedesportos (6.68%).
