This Tuesday, the Danish cyclist Magnus Cort won the 10th stage of the Tour of Italy beating Derek Gee and Alessandro De Marchi in a three-way sprint.
Upon arrival in Viareggio, the group of favorites fell 51 seconds behind the leading trio. It included João Almeida, ranking 24th on the stage.
In the general classification, nothing has changed between the main favourites. Geraint Thomas still wears the pink jersey, having won it after Remco Evenepoel retired. Primoz Roglic and Tao Geoghegan Hart complete the podium, followed by João Almeida who is in fourth place, 22 seconds behind the leader.
The Portuguese cyclist continues to lead the youth classification, wearing the white jersey.
