The Polish tennis player Iga Swiatek won her third title at Roland Garros on Saturday, the second in a row, by defeating the Czech Karolina Muchova in three sets in the final of the second ‘major’ of the season.
Champion on clay in Paris in 2020 and 2022, the 22-year-old Polish player beat the 43rd tennis player in the WTA ranking, 26, 6-2, 5-7 and 6-4, in two hours and 46 minutes.
This is the fourth Grand Slam title for the world number one, who also won the US Open in 2022, with a 100% winning record in major finals.
