It is a true cry from the heart for the 2000s that the Kyo group offers for their comeback. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of his album The way, the French group -unforgettable- had the brilliant idea of redoing a Skyblog. If you weren’t a teenager in the 2000s, this name will mean nothing to you. For others, it is in fact the ancestor of social networks, such as Facebook or Instagram.
It is part of a new version of the cult title. Last Dancerecorded with Canadian artist Coeur de Pirate, that the group launched this idea.
The members of the group did not skimp on the communication coup, since it is since June 9 that they have maintained this skyblog. Kitsch GIF, “release your coms” mention, Comic sin MS font – The group has made absolutely no mistakes in reproducing skyblog trends.
Skyblogs, particularly popular at the time, were simply online blogs for sharing photos, videos, and texts. If you were 13 in the 2000s, it’s hard to imagine missing out on this trend, which was literally taking over high schools.
Today, social networks have largely replaced them, so much so that the skyblogging site should close its doors soon.
The complete video of this new version of Last Dance with Coeur de Pirate will be available from Friday June 23, during a live broadcast with the band. The group has also announced a concert tour, including a date at the Zenith in Paris next December. In the meantime, we can only recommend that you visit this magnificent skyblog.
