The lies of the internet’s “crazy eater”, Alan FoodChallenge, have inspired some brands on social media.
The RER A, for example, took up the controversy to remind its users to respect the cleanliness of their trains, inviting them not to leave pieces of “gigatacos” lying behind after their passage.
Carrefour also tried it, with a photo of a product marketed by the supermarket, a raw chicken wrap.
Alan FoodChallenge, the web’s “crazy eater” youtuber, has admitted to faking some of his videos, most of which showed him eating astronomical amounts of food. It was during a video consisting of swallowing five gigatacos (two-kilo blocks) that the young man raised doubts.
This is how he ended up confessing to his subscribers: he did not eat all the food at once, nor did he spit out certain bites during cut moments in the edition. “It’s impossible,” the young man defended before his disappointed fans.
The youtuber is now at the center of a stir that has been occupying social networks for a few days.
