Magali Berdah tried this Monday in Nice for “bankruptcy” and “money laundering”

The former influencer priestess must be tried this Monday, December 18 in Nice for “bankruptcy” and “money laundering.” The alleged events took place in 2014 and 2015.

Magali Berdah is summoned this Monday, December 18, before the criminal court of Nice. She is on trial for alleged embezzlement dating back to 2014 and 2015.

Before becoming the pope of influencers, Magali Berdah ran the company SAS BA&CO, a company that sells individual mutual insurance contracts. She is accused of “bankruptcy” and “money laundering.” The company was placed into liquidation on July 30, 2015. That is, almost two years before the creation of the influencer agency Shauna Events.

Prohibition to manage and obligation to report

Bankruptcy is a crime that punishes the fraudulent management of a company in recovery or liquidation. Money laundering is also a criminal offense. This is a concealment of funds acquired illicitly through investments.

These acts are punishable respectively with sentences of up to 7 years in prison and a fine of 100,000 euros, as well as 5 years in prison and a fine of 375,000 euros.

In this case, Magali Berdah “was referred on September 29 within the framework of a summons procedure by report,” the Nice prosecutor’s office stated at the beginning of October. She questions the facts accused of her.

However, Magai Berdah is still under judicial control with a management ban and reporting obligation. This Monday, December 18, Magali Berdah is summoned along with three other people in relation to this case.

This trial is not linked to the cases of cyberbullying suffered by the former queen of influence, which gave rise to other trials. In this case, sentences of up to eight months in prison were requested against the eight defendants.
