Since May, X (Twitter) has been looking for a way to lower its prices. But, on the other hand, the “basic” subscription will not offer all the services usually offered to certified companies. By opting for it, companies will be able to earn a gold badge, benefit from priority support, and benefit from the classic benefits of a paid account.
An offer now available in France
On the other hand, the increased emphasis on sponsored posts and the assignment of affiliate badges to certain employees remain privileges intended for full access, which are still billed at 1,000 euros per month.
In France, the reduced price offer is now available. It is billed at 228 euros per month or 2,228 euros per year, which saves two monthly payments. The classic subscription is billed at 1,140 euros per month and has no annual subscription.
The colored badges appeared in late 2022, a few weeks after Elon Musk’s acquisition of X (Twitter). They allow you to identify at a glance an account that has chosen to pay for an X Premium subscription (formerly Twitter Blue), a person who officially represents a State (gray badge) or a company certified with a gold badge.
This new feature came after the opening of paid certification and the chaos it caused. Many then posed as official company accounts and took the opportunity to post humorous or scandalous messages and images.
