Reconquête notes the press release from Lola’s family on October 21 demanding that “all use of their son’s name and image for political purposes cease and be urgently withdrawn.”
With BFMTV, Eric Zemmour’s party indicates that the domain names purchased by him on October 17 (manifpourlola.fr, manifestationpourlola.fr and justicepourlola.fr) will be terminated in the next few hours. The petition, put online by Samuel Lafont, in charge of Reconquista digital, is also cut off.
Active completion in the next few days
The site manifpourlola.fr, put online by Reconquête to list all the meetings, is inaccessible on the night of October 21. The termination of the domain names will be effective in the coming days, the party told BFMTV.
The purchase of domain names had been strongly criticized by the political class, including in the Reconquête camp, by Gilbert Collard MEP. Eric Zemmour’s party had also been accused of political recovery after participating in a demonstration on October 20.
The party also launched and fueled a keyword campaign on Twitter, again in the name of the 12-year-old victim. Lola was murdered on October 14, before her body was found at the bottom of a trunk in the courtyard of her 19th Ward building.
