Between 20 and 30% of the Microsoft code is written by artificial intelligence. This is what is said that Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, is during an argument with Mark Zuckerberg at the Llamas Conference in Meta, on April 29.
95% of the code generated by AI for 2030
And that should accelerate. As Techcrunch reports, Kevin Scott, technical director of Microsoft, said he expected the generation of 95% of the entire code for AI by 2030.
The Meta CEO has been more elusive. Mark Zuckerberg explained that he did not have in memory of an exact percentage, while ensuring that the group developed an AI model that in turn could create the future versions of the family of Ai flame models.
And the two companies are far from an exception. In Google, a quarter of the code is now produced by artificial intelligence according to Engadget. It allows in particular to increase the productivity of programmers. On April 28, Duolingo, specialized in language learning, also said that the company would gradually resort to AI instead of human subcontractors.
