“My baby died in my arms”: Musk does not want to rehabilitate “those who use the death of children” on Twitter

In a rare tweet without second degree, the new owner of Twitter returned to a traumatic episode in his life and assured that he would have “no mercy” against the accounts that profit from the death of children.

Between two tweets with dubious humor, Elon Musk announced on Twitter that he would not rehabilitate, on Twitter, those who “use the death of children for profit, political or celebrity purposes.”

With a very personal argument to explain this choice. “My firstborn died in my arms. I felt his last heartbeat,” he wrote, stressing that he would have “no mercy” for speculators. The man who is also the father of 7 children experienced a tragedy in 2002: the death of his son, just 10 weeks old.

The fight against child pornography as a priority

Elon Musk responded to a request from several Internet users, and in particular from the founder of Megaupload Kim Dotcom, who demanded the return of the conspirator Alex Jones. The latter was ordered in November to pay a total of $1.5 billion to the families of the Sandy Hook victims.

In 2012, 28 people, including 20 children, were murdered at this elementary school in Connecticut, USA. Alex Jones, founder of the Infowars site, denied the reality of this massacre, assuring that certain parents were just “actors” in a staging. This position taken by Elon Musk was complemented by another indication from the boss that he will make the fight against child pornography his “number 1 priority.”

In fact, this question seems to be on the leader’s table, while Twitter was regularly singled out for its failed moderation. On Twitter, activist Eliza Bleu discovered that the hashtags used for pedophiles on the social network had disappeared. “That’s all she wanted,” she wrote on Twitter.
