France will host a major event in world electronic sports: this is one of the statements by Emmanuel Macron, during a video in reaction to ZEvent. The sixth edition of this solidarity marathon ended this Sunday, September 11, with a booty of more than ten million euros for five environmental associations.
The success of the event reacted to the President of the Republic, who released a video on Twitter that was not unanimous. However, it was during this that Emmanuel Macron confirmed the next Major CS:GO final in Paris Bercy in 2023. Other phases of the competition will also take place in France, according to the president’s words.

The Major CS:GO, dedicated to online first-person shooter video games counter strike global offensive, is an emblematic esports competition. Its previous editions were held in London, Berlin, Stockholm and Rio. Each “major” is directly sponsored by Valve, the publisher of the title. This international competition will take place from May 8 to 21, 2023 and will be organized by Blast, a company used to organizing events related to video games. It will welcome players from all over the world, probably including the French esports team Vitality.
