The dissatisfaction by the customers of the Postal Bank. Several La Banque Postale customers on Friday lamented the inability to access their accounts through the app as on the website.
Ethan Kessler, a customer for five years and a resident of Loire Atlantique, “has no access” to his accounts since Thursday morning. “He is unheard of,” he explained worriedly to AFP. No longer having access to his money “generates anxiety.”
Postal Bank has clarified with Tech&Co that online transfers (via app or website) are not currently available.
Noting that this unavailability is linked to “a technical incident due to a hardware failure”, the Postal Bank recalls that “customers can make their transfers free of charge by calling 3639 or at their nearest post office”.
However, the situation did not stop reacting in the networks.
“If someone shows me that a bank is worse than La Banque Postale, I’ll transfer them. AH BAH NO IT DOESN’T WORK,” one exasperated customer wrote on Twitter.
“The postal bank wants its servers to work again, when??”, another impatient.
In July, La Poste Mobile, another subsidiary of the La Poste group, was affected by technical problems. His site had to go offline, this time due to a major cyber attack.
