As noted by the newspaper West of Francethe song clip Plastic, it’s fantastic, Performed by the Nantes group Elmer Food Beat, it is available again on YouTube from April 25 to all audiences. The title had been banned the day before by the platform for children under 18 years of age.
“This video may be inappropriate for some users.” This is what was shown in the YouTube video of the song’s music video. Plastic, it’s fantastic. The user then had to prove they were over 18 to view it, reports ocean press.
The reason for such blocking would come from a sequence that appears in the second minute of the clip. One of the protagonists slips his hand into the fly of his pants. According to YouTube, which warned the band, this footage “violates our policies on nudity and sexuality” and constitutes “inappropriate content for certain users.”
Since 2008, the clip has been viewed nearly 985,000 times. This title, released in 1990 included in the album 30 centimeters, aimed to raise awareness about condom use amid the turmoil of the AIDS years. It had even been used by the Ministry of Health in its prevention campaigns.
