You had to hurry, this Wednesday night, to buy a ticket for one of the most anticipated events at the start of the 2023 school year. The 60,000 tickets for the GP Explorer 2 were sold this Wednesday night, announced the official account of Instagram of this web celebrity Formula 4 race.
The box office opening had been announced earlier in the day by Squeezie, the originator of the event. The link to get tickets (at a single price, 48 euros) has been made public during a live stream on Twitch this Wednesday night.
20,000 more tickets than in 2022
Tens of thousands of people quickly connected. At 8:15 p.m., more than 46,000 people were already queuing up to buy tickets, reports West of France.
In a few tens of minutes, 60,000 tickets were sold (20,000 more than the previous edition), confirmed BFMTV. “Sold out tickets, thank you all,” wrote the official GP Explorer account on Instagram.
The second edition of this Formula 4 race is one of the most anticipated events of the season. On September 9, 2023, 24 drivers will compete at the Bugatti Le Mans circuit.
During the first edition, 22 personalities competed on the Le Mans circuit. The competition featured eleven teams of two drivers, each with the image of a sponsor. All the content creators, both on YouTube and on Twitch, had undergone specific training, in particular with the French Automobile Federation (FFSA), in order to be able to race in complete safety.
