Russian attacks on Wednesday night in the Ukrainian capital left at least one dead and four wounded, local authorities said Thursday.
“In the Podilsky district, while a fire was being put out in an apartment building, the body of a dead person was discovered,” the city’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko, said on the Telegram messaging platform.
Two people were injured in the Darnytsky district “due to falling debris,” the head of kyiv’s military administration Sergiy Popko said on the same platform.
Two other people in the Shevchenkivsky neighborhood were treated at the scene, Klitschko added.
A fire broke out in an apartment block in the Shevchenkivsky district and in a non-residential building in Podilsky, it said, adding that emergency services were on the scene.
