Ukrainian air defenses intercepted 16 out of a total of 17 Iranian-made unmanned aerial devices (drones) launched in recent hours by Russia against Ukrainian territory, the Kiev Air Force said.
“Since the afternoon of July 13 [quinta-feira] until dawn on the 14th [hoje]the Russians attacked Ukraine with 17 Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 attack drones launched from the southeast,” the Ukrainian air force said in a statement.
The same note indicates that 16 out of 17 drones were shot down by the Ukrainian Air Force in various areas of southern and eastern Ukraine.
Six Shaed were shot down at Krivi Rig (southeast), where one of the “non-intercepted” Russian-launched drones destroyed an administrative building, causing one injury.
According to the kyiv Air Force, Russia also launched a reconnaissance drone that was shot down.
The Russian forces did not refer to the military information from kyiv.
