Kadyrov in a coma? Putin’s allies in the war have disappeared from the scene

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) claimed on Friday that Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov is in critical condition due to a serious illness.

“Yes, there is indeed information that war criminal Kadyrov is in a serious condition – the diseases he is suffering from have worsened and caused a very serious condition,” SBU spokesman Andriy Yusov told Ukrainian news agency Obozrevatel.

Yusov did not go into detail about Kadyrov’s health problems, but always said that this was not the result of an injury and that his health was deteriorating. Obozrevatel had previously cited sources in Chechnya that Kadyrov had fallen into a coma.

“He has been ill for a long time and these are systemic health issues. But his condition has been in a serious situation for the past few days,” Yusov said, citing various medical and political sources.

Other Russian sources guarantee that his personal doctor and Chechen Health Minister Elkhan Suleymanov will have disappeared by October 2022 after giving him injections. “When Kadyrov’s health began to deteriorate sharply and unexpectedly, those around the head of Chechnya began to assure him that he had fallen victim to poisoning. Kadyrov subscribed to the same theory and bottled his anger on Suleymanov,” said a Russian research agency Telegram. channel, Vchk-ogpu.

Suleymanov was buried alive, according to rumors published by the aforementioned channel.

Kadyrov and his army, the ‘Kadyrovites’, are also known as the TikTok Army because they have resources at their disposal like no other Russian military force, from equipment and uniforms to professionals who deal with the daily filming and distribution of propaganda.

Kadyrov, known as Putin’s watchdog, offered his personal army to replace the Wagner group’s mercenaries after the failed mutiny in June.

Like former President Dmitry Medvedev, there is no shortage of stunning and outrageous comments on his resume. He proposed invading Poland and East Germany. “It’s our territory,” he claimed, physically threatening Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

One of the latest public threats concerned the public acts of burning the Quran carried out by Iraqis in Sweden and Denmark. “When we are done with Ukraine, we will travel to the countries that desecrated the Koran.”

Ramzan Kadyrov, the man who promised to send three younger children to the war front, is the son of Akhmat Kadyrov, the man who switched allegiances with Russia in the middle of the war in Chechnya and became leader of that region.

Kadyrov is added to the list of ineligible war crimes suspects: Yevgeny Prigozhin and Dmitri Utkin, owner and military commander respectively of the Wagner Group, who were killed last month in the crash of their private plane; Sergei Surovikin, known as General Armageddon for the brutal tactics used in Syria, and former commander of the ‘special military operation’, has been missing since Prigozhin’s failed uprising. After several reports that he was being detained and interrogated, he reappeared this week in Oran, Algeria, for a visit that Moscow made no mention of.

Another disgraced former officer is nationalist Igor Girkin. Also known as Strelkov, he was instrumental in the conquest of Crimea and the destabilization of Donbass, which culminated in the creation of the Donetsk and Luhansk ‘people’s republics’. The controversial Strelkov was convicted in absentia in The Hague for his role in the downing of flight MH370 and the subsequent deaths of 300 people. On his blog, the controversial Strelkov was an increasingly extremist voice – and more critical of Vladimir Putin. He was arrested in July.
