A third humanitarian aid convoy entered the Gaza Strip this Monday through the border with Egypt, the French agency AFP reported.
According to the agency, more than a dozen trucks crossed the border crossing between Egypt and Gaza on Monday, adding to a total of 34 trucks that entered the Gaza Strip between Saturday and Sunday.
The Rafah crossing, which connects the Sinai Peninsula to the Gaza Strip, is the only access route to territory governed by the Islamist group Hamas that is not controlled by Israel.
According to the United Nations, at least 100 trucks a day are needed to meet the basic needs of the 2.4 million residents of the Gaza Strip.
