Five people were killed and six injured after a car crashed into the patio of a bar in southeastern Australia, authorities said Monday.
The 66-year-old driver was taken to hospital after the crash in the rural town of Daylesford, northwest of Melbourne, on Sunday evening, police said.
Police investigators are trying to determine how the car drove onto the sidewalk and into the outdoor dining area next to the road. The driver had not reported alcohol.

What terrible news #Daylesford #Victoria.
We still don’t know why an SUV climbed the curb and plowed through a beer garden, killing five people.
