Five injured in Russian attack on Odessa and port infrastructure

Russia attacked Odessa’s city center and port infrastructure with missiles and at least 15 drones, wounding five people and damaging buildings and grain export equipment, authorities said Monday.

The information was provided by the head of the military administration of the Odessa region, Oleg Kiper, on the Telegram messaging platform.

“There is a missile hit in the center of the city and in an industrial building that was no longer in use,” Kiper wrote, along with a series of photographs of the damage, after the attack on Sunday night.

“Several houses and the National Museum of History in Odessa, built more than 120 years ago, were also damaged,” he added.

According to the Ukrainian air force, the defenses shot down a Kh-59 missile and a total of 15 drones launched by Russia against Ukrainian territory.
