An earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale was felt this Wednesday in the Banda Sea area, in the Pacific Ocean, in Indonesia, according to AFP, citing the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The earthquake was recorded far from the coastal area, around 11:53 a.m. The tsunami warning was not activated.
