The crash of a minibus in Poland on its way to Ukraine this Sunday caused three deaths, including a child, and two serious injuries, Polish police said.
The three dead included two women and a girl, all of Ukrainian nationality, police added.
The accident also resulted in seven injuries, two of whom are in serious condition, a woman and a three-year-old child, a police spokesman said, quoted by Polish news agency PAP.
There were ten people in the minibus, which was destined for Ukraine.
The driver of the minibus reportedly left road 844, near the town of Wereszyn, and eventually crashed.
In a statement, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko confirmed the deaths and said the Ukrainian consul had traveled to the accident site to provide consular assistance to the injured.
