Democrat Joe Biden admitted this Tuesday that he had doubts about whether he would be a candidate for a second presidential term in the 2024 elections if Republican Donald Trump were not in the race.
“If Trump didn’t run, I don’t know if I would run,” said Biden, 81, quoted by the French agency AFP.
“But we can’t let him win,” he added, at a meeting with Democratic donors near Boston (northeast), referring to the former president, currently the clear favorite in the Republican primaries.
