Musk was guest of honor this year at the Atreju edition, the conference that the Brothers of Italy, Meloni’s party, has been organizing at his own request since 1998 and which takes place this year under the motto ‘Welcome Italian pride’. , as the party has been in power since October 2022.

Musk defended “support for a sustainable future that protects the environment,” but argued that this fight sometimes went too far: “In the coming decades we will have to reduce the billions of tons of emissions we put into the atmosphere, but I don’t think there is a risk to civilization. Humanity and life on Earth will not be destroyed, even if we change the climate there will be a problem in the coming decades.”
However, Musk stated that the world “should not be able to do without oil and fossil fuels, because they are needed in the short and medium term.”
