The device disappeared from radar on Friday and searches began immediately on the ground, but it was only this Sunday that the remains and two bodies, a minor and an adult, were detected.
A Costa Rican government source told AFP that “Schaller, a 53-year-old adult man” and four other people were in the plane that crashed on Friday off the coast of the eastern province of Limón. According to the German newspaper Bild, Schaller was traveling on the plane with his wife, two children and a man.
