90,000 children vaccinated against polio in Gaza
“On the second day of the polio vaccination campaign in southern Gaza, 90,716 children were vaccinated” on Sunday, the WHO states in X.
“This brings the total number of children vaccinated since the start of the campaign on October 14 to 420,100,” adds the UN organization, specifying that it has also administered vitamin A to some 339,000 children.
Lebanese Hezbollah says it shot down an Israeli drone
The Lebanese group Hezbollah claimed to have shot down an Israeli drone on Sunday without specifying where, after Lebanon’s national news agency reported an Israeli attack on a financial group linked to the pro-Iran Islamist movement in the east of the country.
Members of “air defense units… shot down an Israeli Hermes 450 drone,” Hezbollah said. Earlier, state agency Ani reported an Israeli attack on a financial institution in the Hermel region and a security source reported other attacks near Beirut airport.
Israel bombs financial organization linked to Hezbollah in Lebanon

Lebanese news agency Ani reported eleven Israeli attacks targeting mainly “branches of Al-Qard al-Hassan” in the southern suburbs of Beirut, and one against the same group in eastern Lebanon, after Israel called on the population to evacuate the surrounding area. the offices of this organization, subject to US sanctions.
The financial company “Al-Qard al-Hassan participates in the financing of Hezbollah’s terrorist operations,” said the Israeli army’s spokesperson for the Arabic-speaking public, Avichay Adraee, on the social network X.

An Israeli army “excavator” on Sunday “deliberately demolished” an “observation tower and fence” of a UNIFIL position in Marwahin, southern Lebanon, the UN peacekeeping mission announced in a statement.
“Despite the pressure exerted on the mission (…) peacekeepers remain stationed in all positions,” according to the press release. “We will continue to carry out the tasks for which we have been entrusted,” that is, “monitor and report” on the situation on the border between Israel and Lebanon, adds UNIFIL.
