“They need to be replaced and the best way is to do it together – and the cheapest”stressed the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, stressing that if the member states all increase their military capabilities in the same way, “the result will be a huge waste of money because there is no way to cancel the duplication – and there are many – nor to fix the errors”.
The Russian military offensive launched on February 24 on Ukrainian territory – justified by Russian President Vladimir Putin, with the need to “denazify” and demilitarize Ukraine for Russia’s security – was condemned by the generality of the international community, which has responded by sending weapons to Kiev and imposing sanctions on Moscow.
