At least four people were killed and 21 wounded on Saturday (Nov. 30) in a Russian missile attack near Dnipro in east-central Ukraine, officials said.
“A rescue operation is underway in the Dnipro district after a missile attack (…) Currently, we are aware of four people killed by this Russian attack,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Telegram.
A residential building and a business affected
According to him, this strike “damaged a residential building and a store.” The regional governor, Serguiï Lyssak, reported for his part that 21 people were injured, eight of whom are “in serious condition.”
“They suffer penetrating wounds, damage to internal organs and fractures,” he said on Telegram.
The city of Dnieper, which before the war had 970,000 inhabitants, was attacked on November 21 by the launch of the Russian experimental hypersonic missile “Orechnik”. This attack targeted a major military factory, PivdenMach, which manufactures, in particular, components for missiles.
