“I would only allow Putin to gather more troops”: Ukrainians do not believe in the three -day truce offered by Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed a three -day truce that coincides with the Russian commemorations of May 9. His Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia will respect this high fire.

In Orikhiv, in southern Ukraine, near the fight, the inhabitants do not believe in Alto El Fuego. Despite the bombs that continue to fall in their home, these Ukrainians do not want to give in to Putin.

“We weren’t we who attack Putin”

Three bombs landed in the Mikhaelo garden. “Look, a crater, a second and a third there,” shows this Orikhiv resident to the BFMTV camera.

Despite the death that hits a little more every day, this septuagenarian rejects any territorial concession in Putin.

“I do not agree with that, he would simply keep everything, but who would accept that? Zelensky? No, anyway, even if he announced that to people, nobody would agree,” Mikhaelo said

Raïa, his wife, shrapnel in his hand, does not believe the possible peace. The Russians occupy the neighboring town in five kilometers.

“To freeze the front line, I would only allow Putin to gather more troops, that’s all, to raise more weapons and then address us,” says Raïa. “Talk to my husband, because I’m going to cry,” he adds.

“We weren’t we who attacked Putin, he came. If someone enters your house and tells you ‘Now your wife is mine’, what would you do? You will try to get him out of all means,” Mikhaelo criticized.

A high fire to rearm

In Orikhiv, one of the too many cities bleeding by the agonies of war, we have the same speech everywhere.

“Three years have passed since our soldiers fight, how could we freeze everything now? It would be like abandoning them,” said Luba, a resident.

For Lilia, a high fire should only be used to reissue. “If the conflict stops, I hope that ours recovers the strength, build underground factories and begin to do drones to reach the Kremlin and Siberia.”
