A difficult situation to handle in normal times, which is even more in times of war. A woman gave birth to Trillizos this Monday, June 16 at the Rambam Hospital in Haifam in Israel, a city in the control of Iranian bombings for six days, she says CNN.
“In times of war, it is even more difficult to handle this type of case,” said Yaniv Zipori, a hospital doctor, in the microphone of the US media.
To preserve patients, the hospital transferred them to the basement of the establishment. As the Trillizos were born, the establishment was in charge of around 650 patients. Despite these conditions, the mother of the newborn “is fine,” says the doctor.
“She gave birth to three girls, premature, she is happy, they are her first babies,” he rejoices.
Hundreds of Civilians killed
Since Friday, Israel has been bombing military and nuclear sites in Iran, a country accused of trying to acquire the atomic bomb. In response, Iran has sworn to bomb Israel tirelessly.
On Tuesday, Donald Trump called Tehran to an “unconditional capitulation.” But Iranian leader Ali Khamenei promised the night of Tuesday to Wednesday in X a “strong response to the Zionist terrorist regime”, emphasizing that it would be “ruthless.”
The bombings have also killed civilians on both sides in urban areas: 224 people in Iran, according to the last official report on Sunday and 24 so far in Israel, according to the government.
