President Donald Trump will withdraw once again to the United States of the United Nations Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO), the New York Post reported on Tuesday, July 22, citing a statement from the State Department of the United States.
“President Trump has decided to withdraw the United States from UNESCO, which supports cultural and social causes, ‘Woke’ and Clivantes, in total delay with common sense policies for which Americans voted in November,” said Anna Kelly, a white house vice part.
She continues: “This president will always approve the United States first and ensure that the membership of our country of all international organizations agrees with our national interests.”
Donald Trump had already retired his country from UNESCO in 2017, during his first term and signed on February 4, shortly after his return to the White House, an executive decree that requires the examination of “US participation”, particularly financial, in UNESCO and more generally in all UN agencies.
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden had brought the United States to the organization.
