The animals had been found in a wooded area in the northwest of London. A young man and a 17 -year -old girl were sentenced this year and the arrest of nine months on Monday, August 4, August 4, August 4 for tortured and killed two kittens.
The researchers found notes on the young man’s phone who indicated their desire to kill. “I really wanted to kill someone. I investigated every day to know how to escape justice after committing a murder,” he was written. “I approached. I killed cats to reduce my impulses. I letu, strangled and stabbed the cats.”
It is “probably the crimes committed against the most horrible animals that I have seen in this court,” said London Highbury Court judge, who pronounced the sanctions.
Scissors and torments found
The dead kittens were found by a pin for May 3 in Ruislip, a wooded suburb of London. One of the two was suspended from a tree by a rope, completely torn and exorbitant, while the other lay on the ground, ropes tied to the body.
Pieces of meat and skin seemed to have been burned. Knives, scissors and torches were found on the scene.
The girl had published a message on an advertisement site to buy three kittens. In the months prior to the facts, this adolescent whose personality was described as “limit”, had downloaded images of mutilated kittens.
An increase in reports of acts of cruelty
The judge, Hina Rai, emphasized that the acts of the duo were “clearly premeditated.” “We do not know clearly who has taken the initiative, but from what they know, both are equally officials,” he said, addressing the girl.
For the young man, he said: “You said that you regretted during your interrogation (by the police), but the reports also show that you have problems showing empathy.”
According to the BBC, the British police are investigating possible links with an international network to share videos that shows that kittens are tortured and killed.
The British animal protection organization RSPCA told the AFP that it has registered between 2021 and 2024 a 42% increase in the reports of acts of cruelty committed against cats, from 1,435 to 2,041.
RSPCA also says that it has noticed a 27% increase in cases reported in cruelty to animals transmitted on social networks since the beginning of the year (133 against 104 during the same period in 2024).
