Palesty’s civil defense reported the death of twenty people in the accident of a food truck that became the crowd on Tuesday night on Wednesday, August 6.
“The truck overturned while hundreds of civilians waited for food aid in the Nousseirat area, in the center of the Gaza Strip,” said Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Bassal.
“The truck had been forced by the Israeli army to take dangerous roads, which had been bombarded” and were in poor condition, he explained.

“Despite the recent limited authorization of some help trucks, the occupant (Israel, a note of the editor) deliberately hinders the safe passage and the distribution of this aid. It forces drivers to take overloaded routes of hungry civilians who have been waiting for weeks for basic needs,” he accused the Gaza government in a statement on Wednesday morning, under the authority of Hamas.
This “deliberate and criminal behavior often ends with desperate crowds that rush the trucks and take over their content by force,” said the government, also mentioning 20 civilians killed and wounded dozens.
Questioned by AFP, the Israeli army indicated to verify this information.
