An American judge opposes the publication of documents on the case of Epstein, accusing the government of “diversion”

While Donald Trump had promised to publish documents in the case of Epstein, before retracting last July, Washington now now the federal judge to reveal his own notes.

An American federal judge rejected Donald Trump’s government on Wednesday, August 20, August 20, August 20 to raise the legal secret of the documents related to the financial and sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Judge Richard Berman said that the government had not shown that there were special circumstances that would justify the dissemination of the documents emanating from the Grand Jury, normally kept secret.

Under the pressure of his camp, which accuses him of wanting to suffocate this shameful matter, Donald Trump had asked in July the publication of “relevant” testimonies of the legal procedures about Jeffrey Epstein, who died in 2019 before his judgment for sexual traffic in minors.

The death of this friend of the stars and powerful, found hung in his cell in New York, feeds a series of non -counted theories that was killed to avoid revelations that involve the main personalities.

A “fun” of the Trump government

The Trump administration had promised to publish them, before giving up them in July, the Ministry of Justice and the Federal Police, the FBI, having established that the financial had committed suicide and that there was no evidence of the existence of a secret list of clients or blackmail towards certain personalities.

“The 100,000 pages of files and documents on Epstein that the Government largely owns the 70 pages of the Grand Jury,” said the judge, referring to the group of citizens invested with investigation powers that intervened during the legal procedures.

“The Government is the most likely part of making a complete dissemination to the public of the Epstein archive,” added the judge, saying that the administration’s request to publish the testimonies collected by the Grand Jury “seemed to constitute a fun.”

The judge also emphasized that the lifting of secret in these documents could threaten the security and privacy of the more than 1,000 victims in this case. Judge Berman also pointed out that the government had a multitude of documents related to the case of Epstein.

This decision has occurred just over a week after another federal judge rejected the request of the Ministry of Justice to make public documents of the criminal procedure against Epstein’s accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, believing that there was nothing new to extract from him.
