The very publicized story throughout the channel had begun in early January 2023 when the police discovered a vehicle in northern England.

“The investigations revealed that Constance and Mark were the occupants of the car and that Constance had given birth very recently, perhaps one or two days before, and that they had not been examined by health professionals,” the police said at that time.

A two months hunt

Then, the police began hunting the couple throughout the country to Brighton, in the Channel de Côtes de la on the British side, passing through London. The photos of the escape couple, who move through the taxis paid in cash, had been transmitted in the British press.

In particular, we saw Mark Gordon buy a tent and the police had been able to confirm the purchase of sleeping bags. The researchers said they feared that the child had to undergo difficult living conditions in the cold of British winter. The couple was arrested in February 2023 without their baby.
