Donald Trump announced on Wednesday, September 17, the designation of the “Antifa” movement, a generic term that designates extreme left groups that claim to be anti -fascism, as an “terrorist” organization, a week after the murder of the influential ultra -cservator Charlie Kirk.
“I am pleased to inform our many US patriots that I designate Antifa, a catastrophe of the radical, sick and dangerous left, as a terrorist organization,” said the US president in his social social network, using capital letters.
“I would also strongly recommend that the antifa funds are subject to in -depth investigation, according to the strictest legal and practical standards,” said Donald Trump, who is currently in the United Kingdom for a state visit.
An “interior terrorism” on the left
The White House had announced at the beginning of the week its intention to suppress what it describes as “interior terrorism” to the left after the murder of Charlie Kirk.
Tyler Robinson, the suspect of this murder, is presented by a large part of the right as a “far left” murderer, because he had denounced his relatives the “hatred” transmitted according to Charlie Kirk and used recorded registration ammunitions with anti -fascist tone. He was formally accused of the authorities who requested capital punishment against him.
