Estonia said that three Russian combat planes violated the airspace of this NATO member country this Friday, September 19.
According to the Estonia government, three MIG-31 combat aircraft entered Estonia’s airspace without authorization and remained there for 12 minutes in total.
“Russia has already violated Estonia airspace four times this year, which is unacceptable in itself, but today’s violation, during which three combat planes entered our airspace, is unprecedented brutality,” said Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, cited by the rectors.
