Donald Trump is in “excellent health”, reads the US president’s medical bulletin, published on Friday after a routine visit.
The 79-year-old Republican made his second medical visit since returning to the White House in January at the Walter Reed military hospital near Washington.
During this examination it was established that his heart age was “approximately 14 years younger than his chronological age,” indicates the health report sent by his spokesperson.
“Good physical performance”
“President Donald Trump continues to enjoy exceptional health, with good cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological and physical performance,” continues the document signed by the US presidential doctor, Sean Barbabella.
It is also indicated that the president received a booster dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, “with a view to international travel”, while his Minister of Health, RFK Jr., known for his vaccine skepticism, restricted access to Covid-19 vaccines.
This “routine annual medical examination”, announced on Wednesday by the White House, comes after a medical examination carried out already in April by the Republican, during which his doctor had already declared that he was in very good health.
Oldest president ever sworn in
Donald Trump, the oldest president to take the oath of office in the United States, does not escape questions and speculation about his health, although they are far from reaching the intensity of those asked about his predecessor, Democrat Joe Biden.
The billionaire was seen with bruises on his right hand. Recent photos show him with a thick layer of makeup there.
The White House said in July that the bruises were due to “frequent handshakes” and that he took aspirin as a standard cardiovascular treatment.
The American executive also revealed that Donald Trump suffered from chronic venous insufficiency, a benign and generalized disease, which is manifested in his particular case by swelling in the ankles.
