The President of the Republic “will reaffirm on this occasion the mobilization of France and its partners to prepare for the ‘day after’ (…) in order to allow a lasting stabilization of the region on the basis of the two-state solution,” stated the Elysée.
Emmanuel Macron will travel to Egypt on Monday to support the peace plan between Israel and Gaza, BFMTV learned from the Elysée this Saturday, October 11.
“On this occasion, the Head of State will demonstrate his full support for the implementation of the agreement that marks the first phase of this plan, an agreement obtained by President Trump, Qatar, Egypt and Turkey and which aims to establish a permanent ceasefire, release all hostages and ensure the full restoration of humanitarian aid to Gaza,” the presidency stated.
