Biden calls on US lawmakers to speak out publicly against anti-Semitism

Following a pro-Nazi outing by artist Kanye West and a few days after his predecessor Donald Trump dined with a Holocaust denier, US President Joe Biden called on his country’s political class in Twitter to reject strong and strong antisemitism.

President Joe Biden called on US politicians to publicly denounce anti-Semitism on Friday, shortly after Donald Trump hosted a Holocaust denier at his Florida home and rapper Kanye West praised Adolf Hitler.

“Instead of giving him a platform, our politicians should publicly denounce anti-Semitism wherever it is found,” Joe Biden tweeted.

He added: “The Holocaust happened well. Hitler was an evil person.” “To remain silent is to be an accomplice,” he said again.
