Independent Russian television has its license revoked in Latvia
Latvia announced on Tuesday the revocation of the license of independent Russian television-in-exile Dojd, following a series of violations, including broadcasting a map of Crimea presented as part of Russia.
Dojd (“Rain”) channel “will stop broadcasting on December 8,” he said On twitter Ivars Abolins, head of the National Council of Electronic Media. “Latvian laws must be respected by everyone,” he insisted.
Russia accuses Ukraine of a “drone attack” against an airfield on its territory
A drone attacked an airfield in Russia’s Kursk region, on the border with Ukraine, its governor Roman Starovoyt announced Tuesday, a day after Moscow accused Kiev of attacking two of its air bases with drones.
Due to a “drone strike in the Kursk airfield area, an oil storage tank caught fire.
There are no victims, the governor said on social media.
