Death of Elizabeth II: the exclusive images of the rehearsals of the funeral procession

Guards in Scottish uniform walking slowly down a city center street: BFMTV has shot exclusive footage of the Queen’s funeral procession rehearsal, from Saturday to Sunday night in Edinburgh, Scotland. The protocol, carefully regulated, prepares one of the stages of the long journey that the remains of the queen will follow starting this Sunday, before her funeral on September 19.

Other rehearsals continue to take place this Sunday in the streets of the Scottish capital. The coffin of Isabel II must leave her residence in Balmoral, this Sunday, around 11 in the morning (French time). She will cross Scotland for six hours by road, to the royal residence of Holyrood, near Edinburgh. She will then settle into Saint Giles Cathedral, before heading to London to prepare for the Queen’s funeral.
