Jeremy Renner, the American actor who plays the superhero Hawkeye (Hawkeye) in Marvel movies and series, was seriously injured after an accident related to snow removal.
The Hollywood Reporter, which broke the story, writes that the actor’s rep won’t reveal exactly what happened – it says only that Jeremy Renner was injured in an “accident” while clearing snow – but adds that the actor is “in critical condition but stable condition”.
“His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care,” he adds.
The Washoe County sheriff, near Reno, Nevada, was called to the crash site, adding that the actor was the only one involved.
The actor has several properties in the Sierra Nevada mountains that were affected by the snow storm that hit the United States in December.
On December 12, Jeremy Renner posted a photo of his car buried in snow on Twitter with the caption “Snowfall on Lake Tahoe is no joke.”
