New German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said on Friday that no decision has been made at this stage on a possible delivery to kyiv of German-made Leopard tanks, which Ukraine wants to repel the Russian invasion.
The issue “was discussed” among pro-Ukrainian countries meeting in Ramstein in western Germany, but “no decision has been made,” Boris Pistorius said.
The “impression” that Germany opposes the delivery of tanks to Kyiv is “false”, he added at the same time.
