After praising the decision of Washington and Berlin throughout the day, the Ukrainian leader said that “the main thing now is speed and volume. The speed of training our military, the speed of supplying tanks to Ukraine.”
“We can do it. Together and in the same way we make decisions today,” he said, stressing that it was “a dream” but also “a task” to equip the Ukrainian armed forces with new capabilities.
“The more defense support our heroes at the world front receive, the sooner Russia’s aggression will end and the more reliable the security guarantees for Ukraine and all our partners will be after the war,” he declared.
Zelensky also referred to the decision of the European Court of Human Rights on the admissibility of the case concerning the intervention in the eastern territories of Ukraine by Russia in 2014 and the large-scale violation of human rights by the occupiers.
“This is still a provisional court decision. But, thanks to this decision, we are getting closer to the day when Russia is held accountable for its aggression,” he defended.
The Ukrainian leader also mentioned another decision, this one by UNESCO, to include the city of Odessa, in the south of the country, on the List of World Heritage in Danger, because of the war.
